What is Sales Benchmarking?

Sales Benchmarking is the application of the science of benchmarking exclusively to the sales function.

The output of a sales benchmarking project is accelerated revenue growth and reduced selling expenses. This is accomplished through an understanding as to how effective a company's sales function is compared to a relevant peer group and to World Class sales organizations.
