Ryan is a recognized thought leader in business-to-business sales force effectiveness. During his time at Sales Benchmark Index, he developed many of the evidence-based best practices housed in SBI’s database of 11,000 companies. Ryan has more than 12 years of experience focused on increasing sales productivity through improvements in account segmentation, lead generation, sales process, channel optimization, sales force structure, sales capacity planning, and designing world class sales organizations.
A sample of Ryan's client list includes some of the best sales forces in the world, such as: Integrated Device Technology, iRobot, Eloqua, Operative Media, Brightidea, Ambrose Employer Group, Surgical Information Systems, Caliber Collision Centers, Sparta Systems, Hearst Publishing and Genentech.
Prior to joining SBI, Ryan held sales leadership position at Cintas, a Fortune 250 multi-national company. Ryan helped Cintas build a Key Account Management organization in the healthcare vertical. SBI’s Key and Global Account Management methodologies, co-created by Ryan, allows clients to strategically improve customer loyalty, increase revenue and lower customer churn. Ryan is also a subject matter expert on compensation planning and quota setting. He authors SBI’s blog on these subjects regularly.
